Volunteer with AWG Teens

At Alone with God (AWG) Teens, our mission is to help young people develop a personal and intimate relationship with God. We believe that through community, prayer, and support, we can guide teens on their spiritual journey. Volunteering with AWG Teens is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young adults, offering them the guidance and support they need to grow in faith.

 

Why Volunteer?

As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

How to Join

Becoming a volunteer with AWG Teens is simple and rewarding. Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Fill Out the Volunteer Application: Please complete our online volunteer application form here. This will help us understand your interests, skills, and how you’d like to contribute.

  2. Attend a Volunteer Onboarding: Once we receive your application, you’ll be invited to a volunteer onboarding session. This session will provide more information about AWG Teens, our mission, and how you can get involved.

  3. Background Check: All volunteers are required to undergo a background check for the safety of our teens.

  4. Get Started: After completing the orientation and background check, you’ll be matched with volunteer opportunities that align with your interests and skills. You’ll receive training and support to help you succeed in your role.

    Volunteer Opportunities include:

    • Event Support: Assist with organising and running our periodic events, both in-person and virtual.
    • 1-1 Counselling and Support: Provide on-demand chat and counselling sessions to teens in need of guidance and prayer.
    • Community Building: Help facilitate group discussions, prayer sessions, and other community activities.
    • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, social media, and outreach efforts.
